Dana Point, CA October 22, 2012 Mercury Cable & Energy, Inc. (“Mercury Cable”), the leading developer of High Voltage Composite Reinforced Conductors (“HVCRC”) for electrical transmission lines, received notification from the United States Patent and Trademark Office (USPTO) regarding Patent 7,705,242 (‘242) confirming all 38 claims as patentable.
In the office action the USPTO issued a Final Notice that claims 1, 14-30 and 34-38 are patentable and claims 2-13 and 31-33 were confirmed as well. The office action was issued in response to a inter parties reexamination filed by CTC Cable.
