ACA Conductor Accessories and Mercury Cable & Energy sign five-year agreement, where ACA is the exclusive supplier of hardware accessories for the high voltage composite reinforced conductor.
Mercury Cable & Energy (MC&E), the leading developer of High Voltage Composite Reinforced Conductors (HVCRC) for electrical transmission lines, is pleased to announce that it has signed an exclusive five year agreement with ACA Conductor Accessories (ACA), a division of AFL Telecommunications LLC. Under the terms of the agreement, ACA is the exclusive supplier of hardware accessories for MC&E’s HVCRC product line in the United States and Canada. In consideration for exclusive status, ACA agrees to make MC&E their exclusive purchaser (excluding 3M) of hardware accessories for composite conductor.

MC&E approached ACA after extensive analysis of the High Temperature Accessory marketplace and in consultation with General Cable. Their outstanding reputation with U.S. utilities combined with their previous experience with composite conductors makes them an ideal partner for MC&E and General Cable.
